Upper and lower abdominal ultrasound
Abdominal ultrasound is a painless and safe imaging test that provides valuable information about the condition of the internal organs. It is used to diagnose a variety of conditions, such as inflammation, stones, cysts or tumours, and is often recommended as a routine or symptom investigation.
Ultrasound of the thyroid gland
Thyroid ultrasound is a simple, fast and reliable method for evaluating the size, texture and morphology of the gland. It allows the detection of nodules, cysts or inflammation and is necessary in cases of suspected thyroid disease or as a screening in patients with known thyroid dysfunction.
Breast ultrasound
It is an essential tool for checking breast health, especially in women with dense masses or in cases of findings from palpation or mammography. Ultrasound contributes to the early detection of benign or malignant tumours, cysts and other lesions, in complete safety and without radiation.
Ultrasound of the kidneys and urinary tract
Kidney ultrasound is a first-line test for investigating urinary tract diseases. It allows the detection of stones, cysts, hydronephrosis or other abnormalities in the kidneys, ureters and bladder. It is completely safe and is applicable to all ages.
Ultrasound of children (newborns and infants)
Ultrasound imaging in newborns and infants is an extremely useful and non-invasive method for the early diagnosis of congenital or developmental abnormalities. It includes tests such as ultrasound of the hips (for dysplasia), skull (through the source) and abdomen. Early diagnosis allows for immediate treatment and better prognosis.

How long does the ultrasound examination take?
Usually the duration ranges from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the area being examined.
Do I need a referral to have an ultrasound?
